What to do if your product arrives melted
Natural Beef Tallow products have a low melting point due to them not containing any preservatives & being all natural
If your Meadow Bliss Beef Tallow cream arrived melted, fear not! Your Beef Tallow is just as nourishing. However, here are two different ways to go about melted tallow.
– Stir the melted tallow and refrigerate for 20 minutes – 1 hour
- Quick Refrigerate Method:
* Note the texture will not be very “Whippy”, more like a balm – The Tallow itself is unaffected and is still incredibly nourishing
2. Whipping Method
– Take the fully melted Tallow (if it’s not fully melted, leave it in the direct sun for 30 minutes to 1 hour) and than pour it into a bowl
– Place bowl in refrigerator for about 5 – 10 minutes. The tallow should be a little soft – but not completely firm before it’s ready for the next step. (You should be able to make indents on the tallow with your finger)
– Once ready, take out the bowl and use a mixer to whip the tallow. Once at the desired whip consistency, scoop tallow back into jar and refrigerate(optional)
